前言

学校概况

无锡科技职业学院是江苏省首家由国家级高新技术开发区举办的公办高职院校、江苏省示范性高职院校。

学校位于中国最具经济活力的长三角几何中心、吴文化发源地、素有“太湖明珠”之称的历史文化名城——江苏省无锡市,坐落在拥有3000多家高新技术企业、53家世界500强企业的国家级开发区——无锡高新技术开发区的核心地带。毗邻景色优美怡人的新洲生态园,周边机场、高铁、地铁等交通基础设施完备,环境优雅、交通便利。

办学条件

学校现有校内外专兼职教师539人,双师素质比例为86.21%。建有校内实践基地40个、校外实训基地208家,校内外专兼职教师539人,聘请80余名企业海归博士、行业精英、企业技术专家担任学校产业教授,在校全日制学生9000多名。

院系设置

学校设有物联网技术学院、人工智能学院、智能制造学院、商学院(空港物流学院)、文化旅游学院、数字艺术学院、海外教育学院、继续教育学院和基础部等9个二级学院(), 设置33个专业。学校的30多个专业全部与无锡的区域经济发展相适应, 与高新技术产业发展精准对接。

留学生工作管理委员会的工作范围包括:负责制定留学生工作管理制度;统筹协调留学生招生录取与教学管理工作;建设留学生培养工作的师资队伍;统筹协调留学生日常管理、宿舍管理、安全保障、医疗保障、资金保障、突发事件处理以及其他相关保障服务工作。




三、入学与注册

1.按国家招生规定录取的新生,持录取通知书、护照、高中成绩单等有关证件及材料,按学校规定的期限到校办理入学手续。因故不能按期入学的,应于报到截止日期前向学校提交书面申请,办理请假手续。请假周期不可超过两周。未请假或者请假逾期的,除因不可抗力等正当事由以外,视为放弃入学资格。

2.学校在报到时对新生入学资格进行初步审查,审查合格并经出入境检疫部门认定身体健康的办理入学手续。教务处根据新生入学报到及入学资格初审情况注册学籍,并按照教育部相关要求完成学信网新生学籍电子注册工作。

经学校审查如发现新生的录取通知、考生信息等证明材料,与本人实际情况不符,或者有其他违反国家招生规定情形的,取消入学资格。

3.以下情况,新生可以向学校申请保留入学资格。保留入学资格期间不具有学籍。

(1)经二级甲等()以上医院诊断,认为不宜在学校学习、但经短期治疗后可达到健康标准的,由新生本人申请、学校批准,可保留入学资格一年。

(2)因其它因素无法入学的,由新生本人申请、学校批准,可保留入学资格一年。

新生保留入学资格期满前应向学校申请入学,经学校审查合格后,办理入学手续。审查不合格的,取消入学资格;逾期不办理入学手续且未有因不可抗力延迟等正当理由的,视为放弃入学资格。

4.学生入学后,学校在3个月内按照国家招生规定进行复查。复查内容主要包括以下方面

(1)录取手续及程序等是否合乎国家招生规定;

(2)所获得的录取资格是否真实、合乎相关规定;

(3)本人及身份证明与录取通知是否一致;

(4)身心健康状况是否符合报考专业或者专业类别体检要求,能否保证在校正常学习与生活。

复查中发现学生存在弄虚作假、徇私舞弊等情形的,确定为复查不合格,取消学籍;情节严重的,学校将移交有关部门调查处理。

复查中发现学生身心状况不适宜在校学习,经学校指定的二级甲等()以上医院诊断,需要在家休养的,可以按照本章第3条的规定保留入学资格。

复查的程序和办法,参照学校当年新生复查的程序及办法处理。

5.每学期开学时,学生应当按学校规定办理注册手续。不能如期注册者,应当履行暂缓注册手续。未按学校规定缴纳学费或者有其他不符合注册条件的,不予注册。




四、签证

1.持有效签证或居留许可,可以前往中国政府规定的对外国人开放的地区旅行。未经允许,请勿进入不对外国人开放的地区和场所。违反上述规定,公安机关将按外国人管理法的相关规定予以处理。

2.留学生申请办理或者延长在华学习居留许可,一般由学校进行担保一年一签,受到严重警告及以上处分的则半年一签,学校认定不适合在校学习的情况,则不提供担保。

3.再次入境签证、签证类型变更及居留许可延期手续

F类签证的留学生在其签证有效期内出境并需返回中国的,需提前持有效护照、居住地所属派出所出具的“境外人士临时住宿登记”凭证(住校内外的学生均需办理)、护照复印件(照片页、签证页和最后一次入境签章页)、经检索的数码签证照片和回执等前往无锡市行政服务中心办理再次入境签证手续。未按规定办理而引起的一切问题均由学生本人负责。

根据中国政府的有关规定,来华学习半年期限的国际学生可持F类签证,学历生必须申办X类签证,并在规定时间内办理居留许可。手续是:凭外国留学人员来华签证申请表(JW202)、入境检验检疫局出具的健康证明、录取通知书、居住地所属派出所出具的境外人士临时住宿登记表”(住校内外的学生均需办理)、学校在读证明、有效护照、护照复印件(照片页、签证页和最后一次入境签章页)和经检索的数码签证照片和回执等向无锡市行政服务中心申请变更签证,并办理居留许可。未按规定办理而引起的一切问题均由学生本人负责。

留学生学习结束离开中国,凭本人有效护照并在签证或居留许可的有效期内出境。如因故不能按期出境,需提出申请,经批准办理签证延期手续。

在居留许可有效期期满后需继续在中国学习的留学生,应在有效期满前申请延长。手续是:持有效护照、居住地所属派出所出具的境外人士临时住宿登记表”(住校内外的学生均需办理)、护照复印件(照片页、签证页和最后一次入境签章页)、经检索的数码签证照片和回执等前往无锡市行政服务中心办理。

过期未办理延期手续者,公安局将处以罚款。各项签证、证件不得私自涂改、损坏,违者将受到处罚。

4.关于随身携带身份证件的提示

根据中国法律的规定和公安局的要求,留学生离开校园或住所外出的时候,需随身携带护照和身份证件,以便警方随时查验。如遇警方盘查时,需主动配合,向警方出示护照和身份证件。




五、收费及退费办法

1.自费生在入学报到时以人民币现金缴纳学费、住宿费;新生还需缴纳报名费。学习期限不满一学期者,按半年标准缴交学费;学习期限在一学期以上,一学年以下者,按一年标准缴交学费。不按规定缴费者不予注册。

2.自费生必须最迟在开学后10天内缴纳学费。因特殊原因,由本人申请,经学校同意,可以缓缴,但不得迟于报到后一个月。缓交学费者需另交学期学费总额百分之五的滞纳金。但是否同意缓交,学校主管部门视具体个案而定。

住宿费一般按年度缴纳,缓交住宿费者也需另缴学期住宿费总额的百分之五滞纳金。因结业、休学、退学等原因而离校时,该年度已缴纳住宿费不予退还。

3.自费生缴纳学费后要求退费,开课前可退80%,开课后中途辍学、退学要求退学费者,上半年430日前办理,退还50% 51日后不办理;下半年1030前办理,退50%11日后不再办理;已办理延长签证或居留许可者,需变更签证成注销居留许可后方可申请办理退费手续。被开除学籍者,已交学费不退。

4.留学生必须按照国家有关规定和学校要求购买来华留学生意外伤害、医疗等相关保险。中途退学者,保费不退。




六、考勤与纪律

1.留学生应按时参加培养计划规定和学校统一安排的一切活动,自觉遵守学习纪律,不迟到,不早退,不旷课。留学生上课、实验实习等均实行考勤。任课教师应有留学生的出勤记载,并报二级学院备案。留学生因病或其他原因不能坚持学习,应当办理请假手续。

2.留学生因病请假,须凭二级甲等()以上医院证明。请事假须附其他有关证明。在人才培养方案规定的学习期间不得请长假旅行。

3.留学生请假期满后,留学生应及时回到所在班级参加学习;如需续假者,按请假规定及时办理续假手续。请假超过本学期总学时三分之一以上的留学生,予以休学处理。如本人未申请休学,则作退学处理。

4.对有违反法律法规、本规定以及学校纪律行为的学生,学校给予批评教育,并可视情节轻重,给予如下纪律处分:

(1)警告;

(2)严重警告;

(3)记过;

(4)留校察看;

(5)开除学籍。

5.留学生无故不得缺席班主任召开的班会或谈心谈话、学校统一组织的要求留学生出席的各类文体活动等。如未经请假或请假未经批准缺席班会、班主任谈心谈话、各二级学院组织的文体活动等记为旷课2学时;未经请假或请假未经批准缺席学校统一组织并要求参加的文体活动的,记为旷课4个学时。

6.学生有下列情形之一,学校可以给予开除学籍处分:

(1)违反中国国家宪法,反对四项基本原则、破坏安定团结、扰乱社会秩序的;

(2)触犯国家法律,构成刑事犯罪的;

(3)受到治安管理处罚,情节严重、性质恶劣的;

(4)代替他人或者让他人代替自己参加考试、组织作弊、使用通讯设备或其他器材作弊、向他人出售考试试题或答案牟取利益,以及其他严重作弊或扰乱考试秩序行为的;

(5)论文、公开发表的研究成果存在抄袭、篡改、伪造等学术不端行为,情节严重的,或者代写论文、买卖论文的;

(6)违反本规定和学校规定,严重影响学校教育教学秩序、生活秩序以及公共场所管理秩序的;

(7)侵害其他个人、组织合法权益,造成严重后果的;

(8)屡次违反学校规定受到纪律处分,经教育不改的。

7.学校对学生作出处分,应当出具处分决定书。处分决定书应当包括下列内容:

(1)学生的基本信息;

(2)作出处分的事实和证据;

(3)处分的种类、依据、期限;

(4)申诉的途径和期限;

(5)其他必要内容。

8.学校给予学生处分,应当坚持教育与惩戒相结合,与学生违法、违纪行为的性质和过错的严重程度相适应。学校对学生的处分,应当做到证据充分、依据明确、定性准确、程序正当、处分适当。

9.在对学生作出处分或者其他处理决定之前,学校应当告知学生作出决定的事实、理由及依据,并告知学生享有陈述和申辩的权利,听取学生的陈述和申辩。处理、处分决定以及处分告知书等,应当直接送达学生本人,学生拒绝签收的,可以留置方式送达;已离校的,可以采取邮寄方式送达;难于联系的,可以利用学院橱窗、学院网站、新闻媒体等以公告方式送达。

10.对学生作出取消入学资格、开除学籍或者其他涉及学生重大利益的处理或者处分决定的,应当提交校长办公会或者校长授权的专门会议研究决定。

11.除开除学籍处分以外,给予学生处分一般应当设置612个月期限,到期按学校规定程序予以解除。解除处分后,学生获得表彰、奖励及其他权益,不再受原处分的影响。

12.对学生的奖励、处理、处分及解除处分材料,学校应当真实完整地归入学校文书档案和本人档案。

13.被开除学籍的学生,由学校发给学习证明。学生按学校、公安出入境部门规定期限离校出境。




七、考核与成绩记载

1.学校实行学分制管理。

2.学生应当参加学校专业人才培养方案规定的课程和各种教育教学环节(以下统称课程)的考核,考核成绩记入成绩册,并归入学籍档案。

3.考核分为考试和考查两种。成绩的评定一般采用百分制或四级分制(优秀、良好、及格、不及格)等记分方式,按学期记载。

课程考核的总评成绩应结合平时、期中、期末考核和技能考核成绩综合评定。平时考核成绩根据学生学习态度、提问、课外作业和测验等情况综合评定。综合实践课的考核成绩应根据技能考核标准和综合实践过程表现进行综合评定

学生所学课程的考核均须取得60(或及格)以上的成绩方可取得相应的学分。考核不合格的课程,学生可选择重修或补考。

4.学生可以申请辅修校内其他专业或者选修其他专业课程;可以申请跨校辅修专业或者修读课程,参加学校认可的开放式网络课程学习。学生修读的课程成绩(学分),学校审核同意后,予以承认。

5.学生参加创新创业、社会实践等活动以及发表论文、获得专利授权等与专业学习、学业要求相关的经历、成果,可以折算为学分,计入学业成绩。

6.学校健全学生学业成绩和学籍档案管理制度,真实、完整地记载、出具学生学业成绩,对通过补考、重修获得的成绩,予以标注。公选课多选可在规定时间内退选。若没退选且没参与学习或学习成绩不及格,将予以标注。学生因退学等情况中止学业,其在校学习期间所修课程及已获得学分,应当予以记录。学生重新参加入学考试、符合录取条件,再次入学的,其已获得学分,经学校认定,可予以承认。

7.学生严重违反考核纪律或者作弊的,该课程考核成绩记为无效,不得参加学期补考,并应视其违纪或者作弊情节,给予相应的纪律处分。给予警告、严重警告、记过及留校察看处分的,经教育表现较好,可在处分解除后给予该课程补考或者重修机会。

8.学生应当按时参加教育教学计划规定的活动。不能按时参加的应当事先请假并获得批准, 无故缺考者,成绩以零分计入。




八、住宿管理规定

1.凡在无锡科技职业学院正式注册的学生,都有住宿的权利,有遵守宿舍管理有关规定的义务。

2.学生住宿须服从海外教育学院、后勤处的统一调配。

3.学生须按分配的宿舍、床位对号住宿,不得擅自调换宿舍、床位及门锁。不准私自安排他人住宿。

4.每个宿舍推选宿舍长一名,其职责是协助做好本室成员的思想工作,并负责本室成员的课余学习、宿舍卫生、体育锻炼、生活事务和公共财物的管理工作,宿舍长由本室成员民主选举产生。

5.爱护公共财物,保持室内财产完整无缺、无损;室内的一切公物不得任意移用或挪作他用;也不得擅自将学校其它公物搬到室内。严禁在室内或走廊墙壁上乱涂乱贴;严禁用脚踢门,用脚踢踩墙壁。凡损坏的照价赔偿,并视情节轻重给予纪律处分。若查不到直接责任者,赔偿由该宿舍成员共同承担。

6.讲究卫生,自觉养成良好的卫生习惯。宿舍长负责室内外管理,建立卫生值日制度,保持室内整洁有序。严禁随地吐痰,乱扔纸屑、瓜皮果壳及杂物;严禁向室外、走廊、楼下倒水及乱抛物品;严禁用水冲洗宿舍、走廊、楼梯;严禁在水槽、排污地漏、抽水马桶内丢弃废物。

7.注意安全用电和节约用电。人离宿舍要断电关灯,严禁私接电线、使用明火、使用大功率电器、焚烧物品。节约用水,用完后关紧水龙头,严禁任意动用宿舍楼中的消防设备,禁止开启配电箱及破坏广播、通讯等设施。

8.严格遵守作息制度,按时起床、就寝。迟归、早出凭学生证或班主任签条登记出入。严禁在宿舍内大声喧哗、打闹;严禁在熄灯后点蜡烛或使用其它照明工具;禁止熄灯后大声喧哗吵闹、弹奏乐器、收听音乐,影响他人休息。

9.为确保人身安全,严禁坐在宿舍阳台护栏上玩耍、聊天;严禁在阳台护栏上放置花盆、椅子等物品,严禁翻越围墙、门窗。

10.禁止学生在宿舍内做饭。

11.禁止熄灯后在他人宿舍逗留,在盥洗室洗衣服。

12.禁止,在宿舍区吸烟、喝酒、打球;禁止一切形式的赌博或变相赌博活动;禁止将VCD及电视机等带到寝室内使用。

13.禁止阅读、收听、观看、传播、制作、贩卖非法书刊和声像制品。

14.不得参与非法传销和进行邪教、封建迷信活动。未经批准,学生在宿舍区域不得从事经商活动,违者给予批评教育直至纪律处分。

15.未经批准,宿舍内不得留宿校外人员,住宿生不得在外留宿。

16.宿舍内实行封闭式管理,男、女生宿舍严禁异性学生入内,若有特殊情况须经辅导员或班主任批准、登记后方可进入。

17.做好安全防范工作,离开房间或宿舍无人时都必须将房门关好、锁好。

18.损坏公物要赔偿,宿舍维修实行报修制度,需维修的物品报宿舍管理员处。

19.假期留校者须经海外教育学院(相应二级学院)批准,于放假前一周内办理住宿登记手续,并将汇总名单报送校保卫处备案。未经批准擅自留宿者,要严肃处理,并补交住宿管

20.违反上述有关条款规定者,根据《无锡科技职业学院学生违纪处理规定》予以酌情扣分或纪律处分,其他未尽事宜可参照学校中国学生管理手册执行。




九、医疗

1.新生报到后必须在相关出入境检验检疫部门进行体检,经检查身体健康状况不合格者,不予注册。

2.根据中国教育部规定,来华留学生必须购买保险,否则不予注册或予以退学。学生需要在每学年报到时缴纳缴清该年度所需的保险费用。

3.留学生生病应及时就医,确诊为严重疾病需及时报告海外教育学院。学生医疗费用自理,保险理赔时海外教育学院可协助提供必要的材料。

4.一切因学生本人违法违纪造成的人身伤害或医疗费用,学校概不负责。




十、课余生活

1.学校设有体育馆,设有网球场、篮球场、足球场等体育活动设施,留学生可按学校有关规定使用。

2.留学生可以参加本校学生会组织的社团、运动队及有关的课余文娱体育活动,欢迎参加校方在重大节日举办的各种庆祝活动。

3.根据《中华人民共和国外国人入境出境管理条例》规定,来华实习留学生,持学习类居留证件的外国人所持居留证件未加注前款规定信息的,不得在校外勤工助学或实习。如未经过校方同意在外勤工助学或实习,一切后果由本人承担,与校方无关。

4.学校尊重外国留学生的民族习俗和宗教信仰,但任何组织和个人不得在宿舍、校园内开展任何形式的宗教活动。

5.外国人禁止携带有危害中国社会公共利益内容的印刷品和音像制品来华。


十一、借阅图书

1.留学生凭学生证和校园卡到学校图书馆开通借书功能。

2.要爱护图书,不得涂划或损坏,丢失或损坏图书应按规定赔偿

3.借书证只限本人使用,不得转借他人。

4.以上规定如有变化,应以图书馆制订的管理条例为准。




十二、毕业、结业与肄业

1.学生在学校规定学习年限内,修完人才培养方案规定内容,成绩合格,达到毕业要求的,准予毕业,学生按规定办理离校手续,在离校前领取毕业证书。

2.学生在学校规定学习年限内,修完人才培养方案规定内容,但未达到毕业要求的,准予结业,发结业证书。

3.学满一学年以上退学的学生,学校可发写实性学习证明。


十三、离校

1.学生结业或毕业,在离开本校前,应向有关部门交还借用的物品、图书,并将学生证等交还海外教育学院。

2.学生在离校前一天,应清点归还各项生活用品,离校时交还房间钥匙,自费生应付清住房费用或其他欠款。

3.结业或毕业的学生,在居留许可规定的时间内离校出境。

4.对受到开除学籍处分和退学的学生,由海外教育学院及时通知句容市公安局出入境大队依法取消其居留许可,限期监督离境。

5.根据校方要求,如遇假期需短暂离校,需本人签署《留学生个人安全责任承诺书》,假期期间,学生一切人身财产安全需自负责任。




Preface

Brief Introduction to the college

Wuxi Vocational College of Science and TechnologyWSTCis the provincial demonstrative higher vocational colleges in Jiangsu Province, it’s also the first public vocational college which set up by National High-tech Development Zone. The campus is located in Wuxi. Wuxi is known as the ‘Pearl of Taihu Lake’, it’s a famous historical and cultural city in Jiangsu Province. Wuxi is also the birthplace of ‘Wu’ Culture and one of the central cities of the Yangtze River Delta in China. Around the campus, there are more than 3,000 high-tech enterprises, 53 Global Top 500 companies. The campus is near by the beautiful Xinzhou Ecological Park where is located in the core area of Wuxi High-tech Development Zone. The surrounding transportation infrastructure are complete, such as airport, high-speed rail, subway, etc. The landscape environment is very nice.

School Running Conditions

There are 40 on-campus practice centres and 208 off-campus practice centres, 537 teachers and more than 80 doctor degrees with oversea education and foreign enterprises background, corporate technical experts served as the industry professors in the college. At present there are more than 9,000 students study in the college.

Specialties Setup

There are 33 specialties in 9 secondary schools, which are the School of Internet of Things Technology, the School of Artificial Intelligence Academy, the School of Smart Manufacturing, the Business School (The school of Airport Logistics), the School of Culture and Tourism, the School of Digital Arts, the School of International Education, the School of Extended Education and Foundation Department. All of the almost thirty specialties are match with the pace of regional economic development in Wuxi and dock with the development of High-tech industry precisely.

The International Student Affairs Management Committee takes responsibility for the formulation of the international student affairs management system, coordinating the recruitment and teaching management of international students, building the teaching staff for the training of foreign students, coordinating the daily management of international students, dormitory management, security, medical care, financial support, emergency treatment and other related security services.




Ⅲ. Registration

1.The newly enrolled students admitted according to the national enrollment regulations must come to the college to go through the enrollment procedures on the dates specified by the college with the admission notice, passport, high school transcript and other relevant certificates and materials. If the student is unable to enter the school on time, he 1 she must the formalities for asking for leave. Leave period should not exceed two weeks. Those who do not ask for leave or are overdue will be deemed to have given up their qualification for admission, except for legitimate reasons such as force majeure.

2.The college will conduct preliminary examination on the admission qualification of new students at the time of registration, and handle the admission formalities if they pass the examination and are confirmed to be healthy by the entry-exit quarantine department. The Office of Teaching Affairs must register the student status according to the preliminary examination of the enrollment qualification, and complete the electronic registration of the new student status on China Higher Education Student Information and Career Center in accordance with the relevant requirements of the Ministry of Education.

If, upon examination, the college finds that the admission notice, examinee information and other supporting materials of the freshmen do not conform to the actual situation of the freshmen, or there are other circumstances in violation of the national enrollment regulations, the admission qualification shall be canceled.

3. Under the following circumstances, new students can apply to the school for retention of admission qualifications. His/Her student status will not be kept during the period of retention of admission qualification.

(l) if the student is found not suitable to study in the school, but can reach the health standard after short-term treatment after being diagnosed by a hospital at or above Level A Grade-2, he/she can retain the enrollment qualification for one year upon application and approval of the college.

(2) if the student is unable to report to the school due to other reasons, he/she can retain the enrollment qualification for one year upon application and approval of the college.

New students must apply to the school for admission before the expiration of their retention of enrollment qualification, and go through the enrollment procedures after passing the qualification checking of the school. Those who fail to pass the checking shall be disqualified; those who fail to go through the enrollment procedures within the time limit and have no legitimate reasons such as delay due to force majeure shall be deemed to have given up their enrollment qualifications.

4.After the students arrived at school, the school shall review in accordance with the national enrollment regulations within three months. The review mainly includes the following aspects:

(1)whether the admission procedures conform to the national enrollment regulations;

(2)whether the admission qualifications obtained are true and conform to relevant regulations;

(3)whether the person and identity certificate are consistent with the admission notice;

(4)whether the physical and mental health conditions meet the physical examination requirements of the applied major or major category to ensure normal study and life in the college;

In the rechecking, if it is found that the physical and mental condition of the student is not suitable to continue his/her study, and they need to recuperate at home after being diagnosed by Grade II Level A hospital designated by the school, they may retain their admission qualifications in accordance with the provisions of Article 3 of this chapter.

The procedures and methods for rechecking shall be handled in accordance with the procedures and methods for rechecking Chinese Freshmen of the college.

5.At the beginning of each semester, students must go through the registration procedures according to the regulations of the college. In case of failure to register as scheduled, the registration suspension procedures shall be performed. Those who fail to pay tuition fees in accordance with the regulations of the college or fail to meet other requirements for registration shall not be registered.




Ⅳ. Visa

1.With a valid visa or residence permit, students can travel to areas open to foreigners as stipulated by the Chinese government. Do not enter areas and places confidential to foreigners without permission. Under circumstances of violation of the above provision, the public security department will handle in accordance with the relevant provisions of the law on the administration of foreigners.

2. When an international student applies for or extends his/her residence permit in China, he / she is generally guaranteed by the college once a year, or half a year if he/she is seriously warned or given harsher punishment. If the college finds that he/she is not suitable for studying in school, he 1 she will not be given a guarantee.

3. Re-entry visa, change of visa type and extension of residence permit

For international students with F visa who want to leave China and return to China within the validity period of their visa, they need to go to Wuxi Administrative Service Center in advance with valid passport, certificate of "temporary accommodation registration form" issued by the local police station (for students accommodate both inside and outside the college), copy of passport (photo page, visa page and the latest entry page), retrieved digital, visa photo and receipt etc. To complete re-entry visa formalities. All problems caused by failure to comply with the regulations will be the responsibility of the students themselves.

According to the relevant regulations of the Chinese government, international students who come to China for half a year can hold the F visa, and those admitted to diploma program must bear the x visa and apply for residence permit within the specified time. The procedures are as follows: bring the visa application form (JW202 form) for overseas students to come to China, the health certificate issued by the Exit and Entry Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, the admission notice, the registration form for temporary accommodate of overseas people issued by the local police station for students accommodate both inside and outside the college), the school's studying certificate valid passport, copy of passport (photo page, visa page and last entry page) and the retrieved digital visa photos and receipt, etc. to Wuxi Administrative Service Center for visa change and apply for residence permit. All problems caused by failure to comply with the regulations will be the responsibility of the students themselves.

International students who complete or end their study must leave China with their valid passports and valid visas or residence permits. If they can't leave the country on time for unexpected reason, they need to apply and go through visa extension formalities after approval,

International students who need to continue studying in China must apply for extension, before the expiration of the residence permit. The procedures are: bring the valid passport, the "registration form of temporary accommodation for overseas people" issued by the local police station (for students accommodate both inside and outside the college), copy of the passport (photo page, visa page and the last entry page), the retrieved digital visa photo and receipt to Wuxi Administrative Service Center.

The Public Security Bureau will impose a fine on those who fail to go through the extension procedures within the time limit. All visas and certificates must not be altered or damaged without permission, and violators will be punished.

4. Tips on carrying ID card

According to the provisions of Chinese law and the requirements of the Public Security Bureau, international students are required to carry their passports and identity documents when they leave the campus or their residence, so that the police can check at any time. In case of any inquiry by the police, students must take the initiative to cooperate and show their pass-ports and identity documents to the police.




Ⅴ. Payment and Refund Procedures for Students

1. Students are required to pay tuition and accommodation fees in cash and the newly-arrived students will also have to pay application fees. Those who study for less than a semester will have to pay tuition for the entire semester and those who study for more than a semester but less than a full academic year will have to pay tuition for the entire academic year. Students who fail to pay tuition within the specified time will not be allowed to register.

2. Students must pay tuition no later than 10 days after the start of the new semester. Under special circumstances, a student may apply for the school 's permission to delay payment. However, payment may not be delayed beyond one month after the student's arrival, and a fine for late payment at five percent of the total payment will be charged. Whether the application for late payment will be approved or not will be subject to the college authorities according to the specific case.

The students will have to pay one year's housing fee. Those who delay to pay housing fees will have to pay an additional five percent of the total housing fee for one semester. When a student is leaving on completion of studies, suspension of schooling, or dropping out, the accommodation fee paid in the year will not be refunded.

3.Those who would like to apply for quitting school after the payment of school fees, 80% of the tuition will be refunded before the classes begin. After the classes begin, only 50% before April 30. No refund will be made after May 1. For the second half year, 50% of the tuition will be refunded before October 30. After November 1, no refund will be made. Those who have applied for the extension of visas or residence permits cannot get the refund until they change the visa or cancel the residence permits. No refund will be made for students being expelled from school.

4. In line with the regulations set by the Chinese government authorities, those who would like to study at the college for a semester or more will have to purchase relevant insurances offered by the insurance companies. This expense is non-refundable.




Ⅵ. Class Attendance and Discipline

1. International students shall participate in all activities specified in the training program or uniformly arranged by the school on time, consciously abide by the studying discipline, and shall not be late, leave early or absent from class. International students are required to check attendance in class, experiment and practice. The teachers shall keep attendance records of international students and report to the secondary school. International students who are unable to continue their study due to illness or other reasons shall go through the formalities of asking for leave.

2. International students who ask for leave due to illness must present a certificate from a Grade II Level A hospital or above, and must attach other relevant certificates for personal leave. During the period of study stipulated in the talent training program, students are prohibited to take long vacation for traveling.

3. When the leave is over, international students must return to their classes in time for study; if they need to extend their leave, they must go through the extension procedures in time according to the leave requirements. International students who ask for leave for more than one third of the total class hours of this semester will be suspended. If the student do not apply for suspension, he/she will be expelled.

4. For students who violate laws and regulations and school disciplines, the college shall give criticism education and, depending on the seriousness of the case, give the following disciplinary sanctions:

(1) warning;

(2) serious warning;

(3) demerit recording;

(4) to remain in school for inspection;

(5) expulsion from school.

5.International students are prohibited to miss the class meeting or educational conversation held by the head teacher, and all kinds of cultural and sports activities required the attendance of international students organized by the college. In case of unapproved absence from class meeting, educational conversation, or cultural and sports activities organized by secondary schools, etc., it shall be recorded as 2 classes of absenteeism; in case of unapproved absence from cultural and sports activities organized and required by the college, it shall be recorded as 4 classes of absenteeism.

6. Under any of the following circumstances, students may be expelled from the school:

(1) violating the constitution, opposing the four basic principles, undermining stability and unity, and disturbing social order;

(2) violating national laws and constituting a criminal offence;

(3) being punished by public security management forces for serious misbehavior;

(4) taking an examination instead of others or letting others take the examination instead of themselves, organizing cheating, using cheating equipment, selling examination questions or answers to others for profit, and other serious cheating or harassing behaviors that disturb the order of the examination;

(5) plagiarism, falsification, forgery and other academic misconduct exist in papers and publicly published research results, and the circumstances are serious, or they write on behalf of others or sell papers to others;

(6) those who violate these regulations and school disciplines and seriously disturb the order of school education and teaching, life and public place management;

(7) infringing upon the legitimate rights and interests of other individuals or organizations, resulting in serious consequences;

(8) those who have been disciplined for repeatedly violating the regulations of the school and have not changed after education.

7. The college shall issue a disciplinary verdict for punishing the students, which shall include the following contents:

(1) basic information of students;

(2) the facts and evidence of the punishment;

(3) type, basis and time limit of punishment;

(4) the way and time limit of appeal;

(5) other necessary contents.

8. The punishment given by the school to the students should be combined with education and punishment, and be suitable for the nature and severity of the students' illegal and disciplinary behaviors. The punishment made by the school shall be based on sufficient evidence, clear basis, accurate nature, proper procedure and appropriate punishment.

9. Before making a decision on punishment or other handling of a student, the school shall inform the student of the facts, reasons and basis for the decision, inform the student of the right to make a statement and to defend himself, and listen to the student's statement and defense. The disposal, punishment decision and disciplinary verdict shall be directly delivered to the student himself or herself. If the student refuses to sign on it, it can be delivered by lien; if the student has left the college, it can be delivered by mail; if it is difficult to contact the student, it can be delivered by announcement using the school website, news media, etc.

10. If a student is to be disqualified from enrollment, expelled from school, or otherwise dealt with or punished in a way that involves the major interests of the student, the decision shall be submitted to the president's office meeting or a special meeting authorized by the president.

11. In addition to the punishment 01expulsion from school, the punishment given to students shall generally be set for a period of 6 to 12 months, which shall be undone according to the procedures prescribed by the school. After the termination of the punishment, the students will not be affected by the original punishment if they are given commendation, reward and other rights and interests.

12. The college shall truthfully and completely classify the materials for rewarding, handling, punishing and termination the punishments of the students into the school's document files and their own files.

13. Students who have been expelled from school shall be issued a study certificate by the school. Students must leave within a limited time prescribed by the college and the exit and entry department of the public security bureau.




Ⅶ. Assessment and Performance Record

1.The school implements credit system management.

2. Students shall participate in the assessment of courses and various educational and teaching programs (hereinafter referred to as courses) specified in the school's professional talent training program, and the assessment results shall be recorded in the score book and included in the student's file.

3.The assessment is divided into examination and assessment. Generally, the scores are evaluated by using the scoring methods such as the percentage system or the four-level scoring system (excellent, good, pass, fail), which are recorded each semester.

The overall assessment results of course assessment shall be combined with the comprehensive assessment results of usual, mid-term, final assessment and skill assessment. The assessment results are evaluated according to the students' learning attitude, questions, homework and tests.

The assessment results of the practice course must be comprehensively assessed according 1othe skill assessment standard and the performance of the comprehensive practice process.

Students are required to obtain more than 60 points (or pass) in the assessment of their courses before they can obtain corresponding credits. Students can choose to retake or make-up examination for courses who fail to pass the examination.

4.Students can apply for other majors in the school or take other professional courses: they can apply for Cross School minor courses and participate in the open network courses recognized by the school. The course scores (credits) taken by the students will be recognized after being approved by the school.

5. Students' experiences and achievements related to professional learning and academic requirements, such as participating in innovation and entrepreneurship, social practice. publishing papers, obtaining patent authorization, can be converted into credits and included in academic achievements.

6.The school will improve the management system of students' academic achievements and school status files, record and issue students' academic achievements truthfully and completely, and mark the grades obtained through make-up examination and retraining. Multiple public elective courses can be withdrawn within the specified time. Not dropping out while not participating in the study or failing in the study will be marked.

Students who are suspended due to dropout and other circumstances will be recorded for the courses they have taken and credits they have obtained during their study in school. If a student retakes the entrance examination, meets the admission conditions, and reenters the school, the credits obtained before are recognized by the school.

7.If a student seriously violates the discipline of assessment or cheats, the assessment result of the course will be deemed invalid, and he/she must not participate in the make-up examination of the semester, and will be given corresponding disciplinary punishment according to the circumstances of his/her violation of discipline or cheats. Those who are be given warning, serious warning, demerit recording or inspection can be given a chance of make-up examination or restudy if they perform well after the punishment is lifted.

8.Students must participate in the activities specified in the education and teaching plan on time. Those who are unable to attend on time must ask for leave in advance and obtain approval. For those who are absent without any reason, the score will be counted as zero.




Ⅷ. Accommodation Management Regulations

1. All students who are officially registered in WSTC have the right to stay and the obligation to abide by the relevant regulations on dormitory management.

2. The accommodation of students must be subject to the unified allocation of School of International Education, Logistics Management and Service Center.

3. Students are prohibited to change dormitories, beds and locks. It is prohibited to arrange accommodation for others without permission.

4.One dormitory chief is selected for each dormitory, whose duty is to assist with the ideological work of the members of the room, and to be responsible for the after-school study, dormitory health, physical exercise, life affairs and public property management of the members of the room. The dormitory chief is democratically elected by the members of the room.

5. Take good care of public property and keep the indoor property intact; all public property in the room must not be arbitrarily moved or used for other purposes; and other public property ln the school must not be moved indoors without authorization. It is forbidden to scribble and paste on the indoor or corridor walls; it is forbidden to kick the door and step on the walls. Any damage must be compensated according to the price, and disciplinary punishment must be given according to the seriousness of the case. If no direct responsible person can be found, the compensation must be shared by the dormitory members.

6. Pay attention to hygiene and consciously develop good hygiene habits. The dormitory chief will be responsible for indoor and outdoor management, establish a sanitary duty system, and keep the room clean and orderly. It is strictly prohibited to spit everywhere, throw paper scraps, melon skin, fruit shells and sundries; it is strictly prohibited to pour water and throw objects to the outdoor, corridor and downstairs; it is strictly prohibited to wash the dormitory, corridor and stairs with water; it is strictly prohibited to discard wastes in the sink, sewage floor drain or toilet.

7.Pay attention to the safe and economical use of electricity. When people leave the dormitory, they should turn off the power and turn off the lights. It is strictly forbidden to connect wires, use open fire, use high-power electrical appliances or burn articles. Save water, turn off the faucet after use, do not use the fire-fighting equipment in the dormitory building, do not open the distribution box and damage the broadcasting, communication and other facilities.

8.Strictly abide by the college study and rest schedule, get up and go to bed on time. Late return, early leave should exit and enter with student card or head teacher's signature. It is strictly prohibited to make noise in the dormitory; it is strictly prohibited to light candles use other lighting tools after lights out; it is strictly prohibited to make noise, play musical instruments, listen to music by speakers or affect others' rest after lights out.

9.In order to ensure personal safety, it is strictly prohibited to play and chat on the balcony guardrail of the dormitory; it is strictly prohibited to place flowerpots, chairs and other items on the balcony guardrail, and it is strictly prohibited to climb over the walls, gates and windows.

10. Students are prohibited to cook inside the dormitory.

11.It is forbidden to stay in other people's dormitories and wash clothes in the washroom after lights out.

12.It is forbidden to smoke, drink or play basketball in the dormitory area; all forms of gambling are forbidden; it is forbidden to bring the video recorder, VCD and television to the dormitory for use.

13.It is prohibited to read, listen to, watch, disseminate, produce or sell illegal books, periodicals and audio-visual products.

14.Students are prohibited to participate in illegal pyramid selling and activities of heresy and feudal superstition. Without approval, students are prohibited to engage in business activities in the dormitory area. Those who violate the rules will be criticized and educated or even given disciplinary sanctions.

15.Without approval, no one outside the school can stay overnight in the dormitory, and students must not stay outside.

16.Closed management will be implemented in the dormitory. Male students are prohibited to enter females dormitory, and so are female students. In case of special circumstances, they can only enter the dormitory after being approved and registered by the counselor or head teacher.

17. Pay attention to security. When leaving the dormitory, the doors must be closed and locked.

18.Compensation must be made for the damage of public property. The dormitory maintenance system should be implemented, and the items to be repaired should be reported to the dormitory administrator.

19.Those who stay in the college during vacation must be approved by School of International Education (or corresponding secondary schools), go through the accommodation registration formalities within one week before the vacation, and submit the summary list to the school security office for filing. Those who stay without permission will be dealt with seriously and pay the accommodation management fee.

20.Those who violate the above -mentioned provisions will be subject to appropriate points deduction or disciplinary punishment in accordance with the Measures for the Evaluation of the Regulations on Disciplinary Punishment of Students of WSTC. Other matters not covered herein may be implemented with reference to the Chinese student management manual of WSTC.



Ⅸ. Medical Service

1. After the freshmen report to the college, they must go through a physical examination in the relevant entry-exit inspection and quarantine department. Those who fail to pass the physical examination will not be registered.

2. According to the regulations of the Ministry of Education of China, international students are required to buy insurance, otherwise they will not be registered or will be with-drawn from school. Students are required to pay the insurance fee for each school year at the time of registration.

3. International students should seek medical treatment in time when they are ill, and report to School of International Education in time when they are diagnosed with serious diseases. The medical expenses of students will be borne by themselves, and School of International Education can assist in providing necessary materials for insurance claim settlement.

4. The school will not be responsible for any personal injury or medical expenses caused by the students' violation of laws and disciplines.




Ⅹ. Extracurricular Activities

1. The college is equipped with a sports center, a tennis court, basketball courts, a football field and other sports facilities. International students can use them according to the relevant regulations of the school.

2. International students can participate in the club, sports team and related after-school recreational sports activities organized by the student union. Welcome to participate in various celebrations held by the college on major festivals.

3. According to the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on Foreign Exchanges Control, foreign students who come to China for internship must not work or practice in the field if the residence permit held by the foreigner holding the study residence certificate does not indicate the information specified in, the preceding paragraph. Without the consent of the college, the students will bear all the consequences of their work or internship.

4.The college respects the national customs and religious beliefs of foreign students but no organization or individual is allowed to carry out any form of religious activities in dormitory or campus.

5.Foreigners are forbidden to bring to China printed and audio-visual products that are harmful to China's social and public interests.




Ⅺ. Library Regulations

1.Students can borrow books in the school library with their student cards and campus cards after activation.

2. Students should take good care of the books, must not scratch or damage them, compensation will be made according to the regulations if books are lost or damaged.

3.The library card can only be used by oneself and cannot be lent to others.

4.In case of any change in the above provisions, the management regulations formulated by the library will prevail.




Ⅻ. Graduation, Completion and Dropout

1.Students who have completed the contents specified in the talent training program within the specified study period of the school and have passed the graduation assessments will be approved for graduation. Students must go through the formalities for leaving the school according to the regulations and receive the graduation diploma before leaving the school.

2. Students who have completed the contents specified in the talent training program but fail to meet the graduation requirements within the specified study period of the school will be allowed to complete their studies and be issued a certificate of completion.

3. For students who have dropped out of school after studying for more than one academic year, the school can issue an actual learning performance certificate.




XIII. Leaving the College

1.Before leaving the college on graduation or completion of their studies, students are required to return all their borrowed articles and books to the departments concerned. They should return the student ID cards to the School of International Education.

2. Students should return their room keys and all the borrowed daily necessities one day before their departure. Self-funded students must pay off the rents and other expenses if any.

3. Students who have completed or graduated from the college must leave within the time specified in the residence permit.

4.For the students who have been expelled or dropped out of the college, School of International Education will timely notify the exit and entry department of Wuxi Public Security Bureau to cancel their residence permit according to the law and supervise their departure within a time limit.

5. According to the requirements of the college, if a student needs to leave the college for short time, he/she needs to sign the letter of commitment on personal safety responsibility. During the leave, the safety of all personal and property of the student is at his/her own stake.
